Kipling & Clark's Founding Family
Kipling & Clark was founded upon two concepts, a love for Asia and a desire for independent, luxury travel. As the founder and CEO, I thoroughly enjoy exploring so many compelling destinations around the world with my wife, Bev, and daughter, Zennia. Following in the steps of Bev and I, our ten-year-old Zen has become a truly intrepid and pampered Kipling & Clark traveler! As a family, Bev, Zen and I have logged several hundred thousand miles, traveling to many of the most interesting areas of world. Several recent academic studies on what makes people happy only confirm what Bev, Zen and I have known for years: experiences, particularly travel, create more deep-seated happiness than the very short-term high from material consumption. As we travel abroad 6-8 weeks per year, we’ve patronized the world’s most luxurious hotels/resorts/ryokans including AMAN properties, Four Seasons, Peninsula, Mandarin, Tawaraya, Hiiragiya, among many others. Rest assured we have stayed at nearly every property we recommend.
Our sense of passion for our work is unfettered and unrestrained - we truly enjoy what we do! We are also thankful for the many clients who have become dear friends.
